Well have fun downloading sailor moon and once you have finished that, try dowloading ranma, kenshin, pokemon, digimon and the list can go on and on and on. :D

If you have AOL connection, I am
sorry to say that Aniverse does not allow AOL people. This is what they say:
| Q: Why is AOL banned from Aniverse? A: While I'm not speaking for all AOL users, the general AOL population is not very intelligent. The majority of them spam channels, flood other users and attempt to flood the network. In the past, attempted contacts with the AOL abuse team have reared negative results. AOL's hostmasking format is completely random, meaning from one session to the next, the same person's hostmask can be 90% different. Because of this, the only solution that AOL has provided us with is to ban the entire AOL population. |
Why download from mIRC?
� You can get files from more than one person.
� You can queue for files. That is, you can get in line and wait for the servers to send you the files.
� You may also want to share what you like.
Rules:
- - Do not request for trade.
- - Do not continuously bugging the servers.
- - Do not leave channel when queuing for files. If you need to leave, clear your queues first.
- - Or else be banned for the rest of the week.
- No profanity!!! Be nice to others.
I won't be monitoring the channel all the time, so please send me any comment you have for any server (or anyone). If the server is not doing well, i'll ban him/her from my FTP. Thank You.
How to Download:
Download mIRC (if down, try this) and unzip & run the program. Follow these steps:
1. Go to File --> Options
* please note Aniverse has gone down so please replace it with animenetworks
1. If you don't see Aniverse, scroll down & choose Aniverse.
2. Enter your name, but not necessarily real name.
3. Enter your e-mail address. If you don't
have one, just type whatever.
4. Enter your nickname you like.
5. In case someone took your nick, enter your alternative nick
6. Once press this, you are going to connect
to Aniverse.com
2. Once you connected, you'll will automatically enter the channel #SailorCenter. If not, type /j #SailorCenter to join the channel. Please join my channel #anime-avatar
3. Type !list in the channel. A list of servers will be shown. To access a server, copy & paste its trigger. For example, if you see -_ViSioN_- [Fserve Active] - Trigger:[!toast] copy & paste only the portion !toast .
4. A remote window will pop up like this:
1. This indicates how many people is the server sending to at this time. In this case, the server is sending to 1 person.
2. This indicates how many queue slots there are and how many of them are taken. In this case, there are 5 slots, 2 of which are taken. So there are 3 slots open. If you see 5/5, that's mean all slots are taken and you can't queue anymore.
3. This is where you are on the server. In this case, you are in the Ranma's oav folder.
4. This shows the folder and files in the server. To open a folder, double-click on it. To get back, double-click on the .. If you want to download a file, double-click on that file. If the server is already sending to someone, you will be queued. It will says Adding your file. It will send when it's your turn.
5. If you want to cancel a file you just queue, click on Clr_Queue and enter the # of the queue you want to cancel. In this case, the slot is 3, so enter 3.
6. If you want to cancel all files you queued, click on Clr_Queues.
7. Click Queues/Sends tab to view all the sends and queues of the server. You'll see yours too.
8. Click on Close to close the remote window. You won't lose your queue(s).
5. Just wait and the server will automatically send your file. To check where you are on the server, type the trigger again and click on the Queues/Sends tab. [Hint: If you're in Queue 1, the server will send it's done sending to the other person.]
More important instructions when on channel
1. If you want to change your nick, type /nick
nickyouwant
2. By default, the downloads will be saved in the
download folder of mIRC. To change the folder, go to
File --> Options and
follow these steps:
1. Go to DCC --> Folders
2. Click on Edit
3. Click this button and choose the directory you want to save the downloads in.
4. Click OK
5. Click OK.
3. If you want to automatically connect to the channel when you start mIRC,
go to File --> Options
1. Click on Options under Connect.
2. Check Connect on startup
4. Change any option of mIRC you like.
