HISTORY OF SAILOR MOON
Sailor Moon
was created in Japan as an "anime" a Japanese cartoon. The creator was a
female named Naoko Takeuchi and since 1992 when Sailor Moon first started, it has become
very popular in Japan and all around the world.
***IMPORTANT UPDATE ABOUT SM*** sent in by Mike http://animehanger.cjb.net Sailor Moon was created in Japan as an 'anime'
a Japanese
cartoon. The creator was a female named Naoko Takeuchi " That is only half of the
truth. Originally, sailor moon wasn't suppose to be an anime, but a real life series (like
power rangers, or any other TV show that uses people actors instead of just voice actors)
I found this out last year by a friend of a friend of mine
(who are founders of my school's
anime club) he told me that the original idea only lasted 1 episode before that idea was
scrapped majorly (then the anime idea came up a bit later on, don't know when exactly the
idea came). I saw the promotional commercial (about 30 seconds) it is as so bad you would
laugh your butt off. If it would have stayed in that format, then most episodes to be
aired would be 3 until people started to turn on something else. I am trying to ask my
friend to ask his friend to find that commercial, plus the episode its self, and if they
can re-find it, I will forward the info along.
From what I remember a few of the characters
were different. Just thought you'd like to know is little
piece of info about the Sailor Moon
series. |
