Sailor Moon R (part 1) Episode 47- 59
The Sailor Scouts were happy. They had forgot all of their former existence in the Moon Kingdom, or on earth. Luna and Artemis watched them from a distance, and were glad they were safe.
Their peacefulness was shattered when a new enemy appeared on earth. Allan and Ann, two aliens from a different planet, wanted human energy. They were both lovers, and the only way they knew how to live was by stealing energy and feeding it to their Doom Tree. The summoned monsters from cards, called cardians, and sent them out to steal energy from different types of humans.
At first, Luna and Artemis tried not to bring the scouts into the picture. Artemis even tried to take on a cardian himself. But they had to make a quick decision when Serena's friend Molly came under attack. And Serena stumbled into the scene.
Luna revived Serena's memories with the "Luna Mind Meld". Serena quickly transformed into Sailor Moon, and destroyed the monster with her "Tiara Magic" power. Annoyed by this, Allan and Ann continued further assaults.
In the next episode, Luna revived the rest of the Sailor Scouts. Luna and Artemis realized that Serena couldn't handle protecting the world all by herself. Serena became annoyed though, because Darien (Tuxedo Mask) had not remembered yet.
Allan and Ann enrolled at the local high school (Serena's school). Allan became popular with the girls (whether he liked it or not), but Ann was left alone. Most people disliked her for rudeness, and she had no problem with that. Allan also got a crush on Serena, and Ann got a crush on Darien. Serena tried hard to become friends with Ann, and Ann even softened up a little and became friends.
The Moonlight
Knight had also appeared. For awhile Serena thought he was Tuxedo Mask, but when
Darien and the Moonlight Knight were in the same room she realized it wasn't
true. The Moonlight Knight didn't do much, sometimes he attacked an enemy but
mostly encouraged the Sailor Scouts.
To Sailor Moon's surprise, her tiara stopped working. She would try to throw it as an attack, but it would fall and not destroy the cardian. A cardian captured her friends, and started to steal their energy. Sailor Moon was attacked by the cardian, and her transformation brooch broke. She turned back into Serena.
A vortex opened beneath her, and she fell in with Luna. Serena wondered if she was dead, and realized that she'd never wanted to be Sailor Moon. But she wasn't sure how to save her friends. In another scene she was naked, and Luna was unconscious. Serena apologized to Luna, and heard her mother's voice.
She was Princess Serena, with her mother Queen Serenity. Princess Serena asked how she could save her friends, and Serenity gave her the silver crystal. Serenity explained that, although the crystal hadn't regained all its power yet, the stronger her desire to save her friends the stronger the power of the crystal would become.
Serenity gave her a new transformation brooch, and a moon scepter. Now to transform Sailor Moon says "Moon Crystal Power" and to use her moon scepter she says "Moon Scepter Elimination!" She appeared again as Sailor Moon, and destroyed the cardian. The Scouts also got powered up attacks, when they reached deep inside of themselves. Sailor Mercury got "Mercury Ice Bubbles Blast!", Sailor Mars got "Mars Firebird Strike!", Sailor Jupiter got "Jupiter Thunder Dragon!", and Sailor Venus got "Venus Meteor Shower!".
Serena was getting more annoyed that Darien didn't remember her. He wasn't being very nice to her, and was calling her "meatball head" again. She was also worried about Allan and Ann. They hadn't gone to school for awhile, and she thought they were sick.
In fact, Allan and Ann were concerned about the Doom Tree. The energy they'd been trying to feed it hadn't been working, and they were afraid the Doom Tree would die.
Serena decided on visiting them. Allan invited her in gladly, despite Ann's jealousy. Eventually they left the room, and Serena noticed Allan's bedroom. She glanced inside and was grabbed by the vines of the Doom Tree. Crying out, she barely escaped from the room.
Ann was annoyed that Serena had gone into Allan's room, and told her to leave. Shakily, Serena asked what that thing was. Allan replied it was a Space Botany experiment.
Later on Lita noticed something in Serena's hair. Lita knocked it off, and Ami, Serena, and Lita stared at it for a couple seconds. They started screaming when it moved. They gave it to Artemis, and he told them it was a plant from the NegaVerse. The Scouts figured out Allan and Ann were the two mysterious aliens, but Serena didn't believe it.
Serena was outside Allan and Ann's apartment. She was debating whether to go in or not. Darien came by with flowers, and told her he was worried that Ann was sick. Serena tried to convince him not to go in there, but Darien simply laughed and walked by. Serena decided she'd better follow him.
Darien and Serena were welcomed in, and Allan took Darien into the other room. Ann told Serena to look in Allan's room again, and reluctantly she did. A cardian grabbed Serena and started draining her energy. Serena cried out, and the Doom Tree screamed "Stop!". The tree began to uproot the building and Darien tried to find Serena.
The Scouts arrived outside, and transformed. They were about to go in when they heard Serena crying for help. The Scouts started dodging through the roots, and the roots started to attack them.
Serena and Darien were both captured in the vines. They tried to reach hands, but Allan kicked Darien's hand away. Allan and Ann started arguing, and Ann told the Doom Tree to steal Serena's energy. The Doom Tree zapped Serena and Darien, and dropped them. Allan and Ann both surged forward and grabbed them before they hit the ground.
The Scouts arrived. They started attacking Allan and Ann with their powered up attacks, but Allan and Ann easily deflected it. They blasted the Scouts.
Serena stood up weakly and transformed into Sailor Moon. Allan and Ann couldn't believe it while Sailor Moon tried to wake up Darien. Darien, not quite conscious, lifted his hand up and Sailor Moon took it. Ann was writhing with jealousy, and blasted them. The Scouts tried to save them, but they got blasted too.
The Moonlight Knight appeared. He lended support to the scouts, but was blasted back into the tree. He disappeared.
Sailor Moon took the opportunity and was about to attack them with her scepter. But she got blasted again. She fell backwards, and noticed Darien coming to. Ann got jealous again and blasted her, but Darien got in front. Ann increased her power, and Darien fell unconscious (or died).
The Doom Tree got mad, and attacked Allan and Ann. Allan was about to get hit when Ann jumped in front of him, and got hit by the root. She told Allan not to forget her, and died. The Doom Tree was about to kill Allan too, when Sailor Moon told it to stop.
The Doom Tree stopped, and explained that it was from a different planet. It had created Allan and Ann's kind, and they lived for a long time in peace. But later, evil forces turned their kind against the Doom Tree, and it barely escaped before they destroyed themselves. The Doom Tree had managed to bring a few followers with it, but they all died except for Allan and Ann. By that time the Doom Tree was too weak to speak.
The Doom Tree explained that it didn't need negative energy, but it needed love. It asked Sailor Moon to heal it, and Sailor Moon used her scepter on the tree. It whispered "I am free", and turned into a tiny seedling.
The Moonlight Knight appeared again, and told Sailor Moon he had to leave. He took off his mask, and revealed he was Darien. Sailor Moon couldn't understand it, but he told her that in the battle between Queen Beryl Darien lost all his memories. The Moonlight Knight was created from his love for Sailor Moon, and was to protect Sailor Moon and help the Sailor Scouts. He joined with unconscious Darien.
Darien woke up. He remembered her.
Ann came back to life, because she would never leave Allan, and they decided to make a new life for themselves. They left the planet with the seedling.
